By combining(stacking) multiple therapies into one session, the overall benefit and depth of relaxation is greatly improved. We attempt to integrate therapies that work on all of the primary senses at once which includes touch, taste, smell, sight and sound.
Custom Massage (Touch) We start by offering the standard types of massage like Swedish, deep tissue, sports, etc... but go further with specialties like trigger point therapy, paraffin wax, hot stone and guided stretching. We want you to discover the type of massage that works best for you and we encourage you to try each of them if possible.
Innertainment System (Light & Sound) Based on results of neurological research, this system supports relaxation, meditation and even sleep. It uses color Ganzfeld goggles for psychoactive light and and integrated headphones provide a synchronous auditory experience. This system encourages deep relaxation in and of itself and is one of most powerful tools that we use.
Lavendria Aromatherapy (Smell) We use a matrix of organic essential oils and extracts blended with the lightest hint of lavender to relax your body's senses from a tired, stressful day. We purchase this aromatherapy from Thorne Research which uses organic extracts, juices, and oils from renewable resources derived from the rain forest region to help support organic farming. We do not believe, like most companies, that aromatherapy should be an additional cost. It is essential to the initial "letting go".
Stress Reducing Tonic (Taste) Before the main therapy begins, we prepare a tonic that contains essentials vitamins, minerals and other supplements that greatly increase the feeling of relaxation without making you drowsy. Most Americans are deficient in Magnesium, which is important in more than 300 chemical reactions that keep the body working properly. When the level of Magnesium is right in the body, it promotes a feeling of calm. Our tonic has a high amount of Magnesium citrate as well as other body and brain boosting ingredients like Creatine, Vitamin C, and D-Ribose.

Why I Massage (long)
I was working as a waitress at Chili´s and as a receptionist for a fabulous chiropractor in 2007 because I had quit my corporate job a few months earlier and needed something to pay the bills. At that time in my life I really did not know much about wellness. Growing up we always ate healthy, took our vitamins because mom told us to, never drank soda, etc. at home and exercised regularly, but that was about it. When I say that the doctor that I worked for was fabulous, I mean it in every way and he is the reason why I began my journey into the wellness world. He does not deserve all of the credit though, working by his side was an awesome massage therapist who was his right hand. He treated her as an equal and valued her opinion and the work that she did for him. Together, they took on no more than 5-7 patients a day, sometimes less. I always told new patients to block off at least 90 minutes for their appointment because the doctor was so thorough, not just the ¨crack your back¨ in and out type. His passion for wellness was contagious, which is why I talked to his massage therapist about how to become a therapist myself. I knew that being a receptionist was not a life long career that I wanted to pursue. I wanted to be able to help people in the same ways that the doctor and massage therapist did so every day. We were closed for lunch, that´s when I took the opportunity to ask her how she became a therapist and if she liked it. She told me all about the school that she went to and how busy that she´d become and her dream of opening her own business one day, which she did, successfully at that! Well, I was motivated and did not have a minute to waste. I made an appointment with the same school that she went to and was there on a tour the next day, registered for classes the next day. My life had direction and it was awesome! In the meantime, I decided to go through a three week Standard Process cleanse, it was not easy, but in the end I lost about 12lbs! I was hooked on wellness and on my way to becoming a massage therapist. I had a very knowledgeable teacher and a small class, so we ended up learning a lot more than we thought we would. I studied very hard and enjoyed working on people who came into the clinic. It seemed like I had found my niche. In November 2007 I graduated with a 4.0 which was awesome! To this day I love what I do and continue to educate myself on wellness and different techniques for different ailments.
